Maize Grain Yield Limiting Nutrients in North West Ethiopia: Pawe District

Soil fertility is the central axis of agricultural productivity. Different approaches are being exercised and applying appropriate rate chemical fertilizer one. A study was conducted in Pawe district to evaluate effects N, P, K S fertilizers on maize grain yield for two consecutive years. Including negative control 23,46,69,92 kg/ha 10, 20 30 P with 92 Kg & 2.5,5,7 kg were also combined their effect yield. Maximum recorded from treatments 92N20P 92N10P, but economic analysis indicates that maximum marginal return higher at 69 N while net benefit 92N10P.
